GREEDYTREES: Handcrafted code, design, and awesome. Since 2009  •  Twitter | Facebook  •  Latest Project: Pseudoacademic

We create really cool projects such as:

Pseudoacademic

pseudoacademic

Pseudoacademic generates a fake random thesis based on common liberal arts terms. Cheryl and her best friend Alexis came up with this during finals season at NYU.

Launched: December 2011. Site in 11 hours, with the help of much peppermint bark.

Charles: Python, PHP, Javascript, MySql.

Cheryl: Concept, design, copywriting, HTML, CSS

Froot Loop Pokemon

froot loop pokemon

Pokemon, made of Froot Loops. It's a pretty simple idea, if nonsensical. One of Cheryl's many ways of procrastination and a personal project.

Launched: December 2011; Tumblr platform.

Cheryl: Concept, design, copywriting, HTML, CSS, Pokemon-making.

Notes for Later

notes for later

Notes for Later helps you quickly save websites to your email, instead of a separate service. Charles wanted to use Notes but it didn't yet exist. VoilĂ !

Launched: August 2010.

Charles: Concept, PHP, Javascript, MySql.

Cheryl: Design, copywriting, HTML, CSS.

boxboxboxboxbox

boxboxboxboxbox

SO MANY BOXES. box^5 started out silly— a way to recycle some code— and ended up useful— an interesting color theory tool. Imagine that.

Launched: July 2010.

Charles: PHP, Javascript, MySql, Box HTML.

Cheryl: Concept, design, copywriting, HTML, CSS

BTNBT

btnbt

BTNBT is a link shortener that allows you to make lists of links as well as normal shortening. The idea was by our friend Darla.

Charles: PHP, Javascript, MySql.

Cheryl: Design, copywriting, HTML, CSS.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL: WE'RE REALLY COOL TOO

Charles!

is a Junior at the University of Chicago studying Mathematics and Computer Science.

He wanted to be a fix-it man when he was younger. Now he writes software, which he feels is, in many ways, what he wanted to do.

Launched: November 1990.

Cheryl!

is a Freshman at New York University (Gallatin) studying design? and entrepreneurship? (Aaaagh?)

She likes pushing big rocks up even bigger hills, by starting projects, designing/freaking out, dreaming, wandering, arts-ing, and writing terrible haikus.

Launched: August 1993.
